During the 1992 Presidential campaign, he made a now-famous appearance on The Arsenio Hall Show in which he played "Heartbreak Hotel" on his saxophone. At the time, Clinton was trailing in the polls, and some critics have suggested that this surprise appearance helped turn the race around.
