CHOCOLATE PECAN COOKIES

  • 1¼ cups butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • ½ cup cocoa
  • powdered sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
Cream the butter and sugar. Add cocoa, flour, vanilla, and pecans. Refrigerate about an hour so that dough is easier to handle. Pinch off pieces about the size of a marble and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and, while still hot, roll in powdered sugar. To make a thick coating, roll the cookies again when cold.
