- ½ cup butter
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- ¾ cup coconut

- 3 tablespoons flour
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 eggs

Blend together the butter, flour and brown sugar. Spread like
a crust on the bottom of an 8-inch-square pan. Bake 20 minutes
at 350°. Meanwhile, grind together the pecans and coconut;
combine this with the flour, brown sugar, baking powder, and
eggs. Spread this over the baked crust and continue baking 25
minutes more. Cut in squares. |
