- 1 pint milk
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon butter
- ½ teaspoon celery salt

- 1 well-beaten egg
- 3 tablespoons mustard
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste

Bring milk to a boil in double boiler. Mix flour to a smooth
paste with 2 tablespoons cold water and add to milk, blending
well. Add sugar, butter, celery salt, salt and pepper as desired,
and egg. Add mustard and vinegar. Beat thoroughly. |
