| MOCK ANGEL FOOD

- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
|
- 2 egg whites, beaten stiff
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Fondant
|

|
Heat milk almost to boiling point. Mix and sift flour, sugar,
and baking powder 3 times. Pour milk gradually into dry mixture,
blending well. Fold in egg whites. Add vanilla. Pour into ungreased
pan and bake at 300° F for 45 minutes. Cool. Cover with fondant. |
