PECAN PIE

  • 9-inch pie crust
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup pecans
Beat eggs. Add sugar, syrup, salt, vanilla, and butter. Line pie pan with pie crust. Put in pecans in a layer. Add mixture. Bake at 350° F. 50 to 60 minutes. The nuts will rise to top and form a crusted layer.
