STEAMED CRANBERRY PUDDING
4 tablespoons shortening
2/3 cup granulated sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 1/2 cups flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
2 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 cups chopped cranberries
Cream the shortening and sugar. Add other ingredients and 1 cup cold water. Half fill a greased pudding mold. Cover tightly and steam for 2 hours. Serve hot.
