Emmitt Smith was named NFL MVP in 1993 when he rushed for 1486 and averaged 5.3 yards per carry. He also earned Super Bowl MVP honors that year, leading the Dallas Cowboys to a 30-13 Super Bowl victory against the Buffalo Bills in Super Bowl XXVIII.
