When Drax discovers her betrayal, Corinne flees into the woods, but Drax releases his hunting dogs who maul her to death.

Bond is issued a Venetian canal gondola made by Q-Branch that features a hidden engine and steering controls, and can also convert into a hovercraft to move on land as well as water. Bond uses this to escape from his pursuers while in Venice.

Franco is an MI6 operative who pilots Bond's gondola until they are intercepted by an ominous funeral gondola. An assassin emerges from the coffin and hurls a throwing knife into Franco's chest, killing him instantly.

Bond throws Chang through the ornate glass of the clock's dial, and he falls to his death in the plaza below, smashing through a piano. Looking down at the corpse, Bond delivers the line "Play it again, Sam."

Dr. Goodhead is equipped with a poison pen, dart-throwing diary, and perfume flamethrower, all standard CIA equipment, prompting Bond to surmise that the alluring astronaut is actually an intelligence agent.

When Bond arrives at his suite, Manuela is already there preparing him a martini--shaken not stirred. "Do you come with the suite?" he asks, to which she responds, "It depends who's renting it."

Bond battles it out with Jaws on top of a cable car high above the city. After Bond escapes with Dr. Goodhead, Jaws' cable car crashes, and he is rescued from the rubble by a young woman named Dolly. It's a magical moment, and the two fall instantly in love.
