Whenever Archie mentions Reverend Felcher, he says "Reverend Fletcher" to which the person to whom he is speaking replies "Felcher". Archie then says, "Whatever".

Archie's wife Edith is sweet and understanding, although somewhat naïve and uneducated. He sometimes disparagingly calls her "dingbat".

Reverend Felcher was replaced by Reverend Chong, though it is never mentioned why.
