During the 1921 NFL season, Halas got the Packers expelled from the league in order to prevent them from signing Notre Dame guard Heartley (Hunk) Anderson, and then graciously got them re-admitted after the Bears had closed the deal with Anderson themselves.

Dent was drafted in the eighth round with 203rd overall pick in the 1983 NFL Draft. He would go on to have a Hall of Fame career.
